it was 2017 when I completed my "MSC Mass communication" degree from Allama Iqbal open university. Afterward I never studied any media research and research thesis and articles except the one I myself had wrote my internship report at Nawa-i-waqt newspaper. As I am not a media person and have not background of regular student after my matriculation examination. I completed all my education after matric as a private student so when I joined Riphah International university for MS Media program I was completely blank when it was time to select a topic for my thesis proposal writing.
initially I could not find any topic or idea which I could keep continuing easily for my thesis. every other day either I changed my topic or it could not get approval. As a result, I thought for sometime to leave MS. Media and my education journey at this stage but some of my fellows encouraged me to not to do this and keep trying for another one.
so after this moral support I started searching websites of foreign universities regularly in order to find what they are looking for researches in the media and that paid off finally I got two points "PEMRA attitude towards public complaints" and the other one is "objectionable content of Pakistani dramas".at this point Director RIMS also supported me as well.
after the cognation and having gone through literature now I am writing my thesis proposal on "How PEMRA is handling with public complaints on the content of Pakistani dramas" . so after the successful defense of the proposal I will start writing my thesis .Thus my thesis will focus on the PEMRA's attitude towards public complaints while I will also go through the content of Pakistani dramas as well.
