  Speech for the host at Medal and Prize Distribution Ceremony of FBISE  Honorable President, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Federal Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Chairman, Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, esteemed teachers, dear students, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen. It is indeed an occasion of great prestige for me that the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad is holding its Medal and Prize Distribution Ceremony for the top position holder students of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) annual examination . The proud achievement of the recipients of medals and awards is the result of their unremitting devotion to teaching – learning process, steadfast attention towards responsibilities and unequivocal resolve to move ahead. I warmly congratulate the awardees for their glorious achievements. Our dearest country cannot realistically hope to come at par with the developed nations of the world until education is given due importance. Education alone opens up windows of opportunities for the youth to advance in all fields of human endeavors. The present Government is fully aware of its responsibilities and working on multifaceted strategy to address the issues of: i. Universal primary education ii. Uniform curriculum for nation iii. Promotion of skilled based technical education at different levels iv. Main streaming of religious education v. Improvement and standardization of national examination system. I would like to share with the recipients of the awards my conviction that these awards are a source of greater inspiration and opening new educational avenues for you. The students must continue making determined and univocal efforts to win positions of distinction and honour in future as well. I appreciate Chairman Federal Board and his team for holding this marvelous medal and prize distribution ceremony to honour the meritorious students. Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen.
