  • A 3D artist named Aleksandr Timoshenko recreated one of the most recognizable World of Warcraft cities, Thunder Bluff, in an impressive 3D render that has the town a more of a WOW WoTLK Classic Gold  tonally bleak aesthetic. The city's rich history has been going on since the time of World of Warcraft's Third War, Thunder Bluff counts among the franchise's more famous capital cities.

This city's location is equally fascinating as its historical significance and culture. Located on the continent known as Kalimdor, Thunder Bluff as entire is constructed atop bluffs that stand hundreds of feet higher than terrain on which it was settled. The Tauren are the ones who settled the area and founded the city following being driven away from their homeland by unarmed Centaurs. Thunder Bluff seems a fitting location for the Tauren however, due to the weather that is usually sunny, and often depicted on game screens by warm colors and an unmistakable vibrance. What do you think if Thunder Bluff received a makeover without the help of one of Blizzard's Classic recreations, but by a fan who brings a different vision to the table?

As spotted by PC Gamer, 3D artist Aleksandr Timoshenko shared a slew of fan-made 3D renderings of Thunder Bluff on the ArtStation page that portray Thunder Bluff quite differently. It's a striking recreation featuring all the finest details on display, yet Timoshenko's reimagining of the city's natural beauty leaves the bright and golden colors that gives the city its characteristic warm look.

However, in place of the warmth, there is something darker in its tone. This is most evident when Thunder Bluff's classic look and Timoshenko's 3D render are juxtaposed in photos. According to PC Gamer the 3D artist designed their amazing World of Warcraft renders in Epic's Unreal Engine with help from Quixel's Megascans plugin.

A different artist's interpretation of the classic designs is always intriguing. Particularly interesting is how Timoshenko's real-life reimagining completely alters the mood that is Thunder Bluff. Within the 3D art of Timoshenko there is a mood of gloom that's not evident in the World of Warcraft's Thunder Bluff. But both are stunning in their own each of their own.

Timoshenko isn't just the one fan with impressive World of Warcraft cheap WOW WoTLK Classic Gold  recreations making the rounds, either. A few days ago a Reddit user shared pictures of their Stormwind Harbor construct in Iron Gate's Valheim. Also, it is a sight to behold.
