I took up the subject of television advertisement in my 5th
semester. The reason of taking up this subject is that I was always intrigued
by the subject and I wanted to know how the TVCs are made and how the brains
behind this big industry work these kinds of interests prompted me to take up
this subject. The teacher who is teaching us is Mr.Raja Kashif Janjua who
has a very big experience in working in the TVC industry and he has worked with
big firms like ogilvi so I knew I was about to learn this subject from a person
who knows ins and outs of this field. Our dear teacher at first told us to do
assignment to check the amount of TVCs being played in a show in prime time.
Then the next step he made it more difficult for us he then asked us to write
copies of 10 different advertisements. You will be wondering what is a copy so copy are the dialogues which are being
spoken in the TVC. Then the next step in our learn process was our Midterm project.
The main theme of this Midterm project was to make a TVC which will
be focusing on the commitment that I will be making on this 23rd
march and also will intrigue people to make commitments to themselves. The
process of finalizing my TVC was a bit tiresome as our beloved teacher wanted
nothing but perfection so after being rejected multiple times my idea of tvc
was accepted and I had to make a TVC on NESTLE EVERYDAY and the commitment I
will make with myself. After a lot of hard my TVC got shot and got edited. The
things I have learned up till now are very helpful and will bear fruit in the
future and I will urge the students to take up this subject.
